July 22, 2005, INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Summer 2005 NAMM exhibit #1535) British amplifier manufacturer Trace Elliot will unveil its new product line at the Peavey exhibit during Summer NAMM 2005, held July 22-24 in Indianapolis.

As previously announced, world-renowned musical instrument and sound equipment manufacturer Peavey has secured the North American distribution rights for the Trace Elliot brand of bass and acoustic guitar amplifiers. Trace Elliot managing director Clive Roberts expressed great enthusiasm for the new relationship with Peavey and its extensive distribution in North America.

"Trace Elliot has enjoyed exceptional recognition and sales in nearly every corner of the world," said Roberts, "but it has never truly achieved the market penetration in the U.S. that it has achieved elsewhere. As one of the most dominant brands in the industry, Peavey will certainly bring the Trace Elliot brand greater recognition in the U.S."

Peavey's distribution center in Mississippi will stock and ship Trace Elliot bass amplifiers to North American retailers, while shipments to other continents will be handled directly by Trace Elliot in the U.K., where its products are designed and built.

Trace Elliot established operation in the U.K. during the 1970s as a specialty bass amplifier manufacturer and later expanded to acoustic guitar amplification. Musicians and retailers throughout the world laud Trace Elliot's unique circuitry and unmistakable performance, and professional bassists such as John Entwistle of The Who, Steve Harris of Iron Maiden, Bill Wyman and Doug Wimbish are among the many artists who have endorsed Trace Elliot products during its history.

Now celebrating its 40th anniversary as one of the largest manufacturers of musical instruments and professional sound equipment in the world, Peavey holds more than 130 patents and produces more than 2,000 products, which are distributed throughout the United States and to 136 other countries.
