June 23, 2005Dutch Air Guitar Finals to Be WebcastPress release Guitar players without guitars in broadband streaming video On the 25th of June, 2005, the finals of the official Dutch Air Guitar Championships take place at Paradiso, Amsterdam. Fabchannel.com will webcast this entire show live on the internet in video and audio. The webcast starts at 21.00 CET. Afterwards the event will be included in the online archive at www.fabchannel.com. Both live and on demand, the webcast is free for everybody to watch. Playing air-guitar is playing along on a guitar-solo by making guitarist-like moves in the air, without a guitar. The winner saves himself a place at the world championships in Oulu, Finland. Since 1996 the Air Guitar Festival takes place there. During this festival competitors form 17 different countries in four different continents compete for the world title Air Guitar. Fabchannel presents weekly webcasts of concerts, performances and lectures from Paradiso on the internet. Besides live webcasts, Fabchannel.com offers an extensive online videoarchive including 375 concerts of artists like Morcheeba, Sonic Youth, the Arcade Fire, Low, Street Dogs, Mocky, The Dears, Presidents of the USA and Sarah Bettens.
