On April 22nd, a PRS Corvette Standard 22 made its debut as part of the Corvette Heritage Tour in Bowling Green, KY. The tour was part of the 8th Annual Birthday Bash for the C5/C6, hosted by the National Corvette Museum.

The Velocity Yellow guitar is signed by Corvette C6.R racing drivers Oliver Beretta, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Ron Fellows, Oliver Gavin, Jan Magnussen, Johnny O'Connel, Max Papis and Andy Pilgram. The Corvette Heritage tour will visit dozens of auto events and Chevrolet dealerships throughout 2005. Throughout the tour, visitors can register to win the showcased PRS guitar which will be presented at the Richmond Rock 'n Roll 400 in September 2005.

On May 6th, after a photo shoot at the Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, KY, PRS ventured across the street where they created a display at the National Corvette Museum. In addition to photographs of the PRS sponsored Corvette C6R racecar, the display incorporates 3 of the new Corvette Standard 22 PRS guitars, one of which is signed by C6R driver, Ron Fellows. "We're pleased to be part of the history and exhibits at the National Corvette Museum. We are excited to have the opportunity to work with the staff at the museum to create this commemorative display and are looking forward to future events," states Jack Higginbotham, President of PRS Guitars. Visitors of the museum will also find PRS/Corvette merchandise available in the museum gift shop. The National Corvette Museum is adjacent to the Corvette assembly plant and attracts over 150,000 Corvette enthusiasts per year. For more information, visit www.corvettemuseum.com.
