Fishman was proud to support new talent as one of the sponsors of the 2004 International Songwriting Competition. The Grand Prize winner, Gin Wigmore of New Zealand, won a Fishman Loudbox Amplifier and Aura Acoustic Imaging Blender for her beautiful, intensely personal song "Hallelujah."

16 First Place winners will be sent a Fishman Platinum Pro-EQ preamp/DI, and 16 Second Place winners be awarded a Pro-EQ II instrument preamp/EQ. In addition, Fishman will be honoring the ISC winners on the company web site's NEWS section. Prizes will be sent out this week. Competition winners will also receive cash and prizes from other corporate sponsors.

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is an annual songwriting contest with the mission to provide opportunities for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena. ISC is designed to nurture the musical talent of songwriters on all levels, and promote excellence in the art of songwriting. Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians are invited to participate. ISC has a prestigious world-class panel of judges, offering exposure and the opportunity to have songs heard by the most influential decision-makers in the music industry.
