Stolen Guitar Sculpture Safely Returned

Gibson Guitar Chairman and CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz (second from left) accepts the 10 foot tall Gibson guitar sculpture which was stolen earlier in the week. Here it is returned to Gibson Guitar corporate headquarters. The 10 foot guitar sculpture which is part of the Nashville Guitartown project was taken from in front of Sony Music on Music Row and discovered missing on Monday, May 16, 2005. A reward for its return was issued by Juszkiewicz and a statement asking for its safe return no later than Friday, May 20th with no questions asked obviously worked. Earlier today the Gibson guitar sculpture was found left in front of a local daycare center with a note attached calling it a prank. It was then transported back to Gibson Guitar, the presenting sponsor of Nashville's Guitartown. For more information on the project go to www.nashvilleguitartown.com. Photo by Sandy Campbell.
