Dave Navarro to Receive Stevie Ray Vaughan Award

Paul Reed Smith Guitars endorser Dave Navarro will receive the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award at a May 20, 2005, benefit concert for the MusiCares MAP Fund at The Music Box @ Fonda in Hollywood, California. The award honors Navarro's financial support of the fund, in addition to his individual work in helping other artists through the MAP program to overcome their addictions. As an active supporter of MusiCares and also in recognition of Dave's exceptional personal and professional accomplishments, PRS Guitars donated a Dave Navarro PRS model guitar to be auctioned off at the event. Navarro will sign the guitar.

As a support resource, the MusiCares MAP Fund makes it possible for members of the music community to gain access to addiction recovery treatment programs, regardless of their financial condition, and once again live productive and creative lives.
