Hour Cast Announces Concert Dates to Support Powerman 5000

HOUR CAST   have announced they will be joining POWERMAN 5000 and Boston local hard rock favorite DOGFIGHT on several Northeast regional dates. The band is currently in the studio finishing the mix of their debut full-length album titled "State of Disgrace" with Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Three Days Grace, Incubus) for Alkamedia Records. Recorded in Massachusetts at Longview Farm Studios, the album was written and produced by the band and is expected for release this summer 2005.

Currently, HOUR CAST's self-titled EP, released February 8th, is available at Newbury Comics, Strawberries, FYE and online at iTunes. Both bassist Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez; A PERFECT CIRCLE, MARILYN MANSON, NIN) and drummer Chris Vrenna (NIN, MARILYN MANSON) have taken time to help out the Boston-based rockers by remixing some tracks for the upcoming "State of Disgrace."

East coast metal, by way of electronica, band HOUR CAST   have been prepping the release of their debut album with performances throughout the Northeast. Currently the self-titled EP is receiving radio play at FMQB Metal Radio, CMJ and CMJ Loud Rock stations, and has climbed the FMQB Metal Chart 10 spots since its debut 3 weeks ago. The group plans to tour in support of the set, dates to be announced.

"We are really looking forward to opening for Powerman 5000 when they come to Boston to play for their and our hometown crowds! They have given us the opportunity to reach out and introduce ourselves and our brand of music to their fans," said HOUR CAST   lead singer Patrick McBride. "This is what we have been preparing for; one song, one show, one fan at a time."

HOUR CAST's line-up includes Patrick McBride (vocals), David Henriquez (guitar), David Sullivan (bass) and Jerry Clews (drums). The bands' hard hitting, melodic and hook-laden sound has been described by Mega Metal as "brutal, but with enough twists and turns to make fans smile with delight." East Coast Romper says "HOUR CAST   have fueled their fiery yet deliberate mood with super thick, sonorous hooks that are delicate in feel but thunderous in delivery. Does it really need to be said that you have to pick this album up?"
