Sadowsky Guitars: Breakthrough Success at Winter NAMM

Respected New York City Luthier Impresses Dealers With New Jimmy Bruno, Archtop Guitar, Basses and Accessories

Dealers and attendees jammed the Sadowsky Exhibit at Winter NAMM to experience Jimmy Bruno playing his new Jimmy Bruno Archtop guitar, see the new Sadowsky Metro Line and Ultra Vintage basses and high-quality polishes, strings, and straps from the legendary guitar maker.

The Jimmy Bruno Archtop features a smaller body shape with a single cutaway and five-ply maple laminate body construction for optimum resonance and tone. The guitar is completed by a Sadowsky humbucking pickup and the finest quality fittings, including an ebony bridge, tailpiece and pickguard and gold colored hardware

Exceptionally playable, the instrument has a smooth low action, 22 frets and 24-3/4" scale mahogany neck. The ebony fingerboard will be accented with mother of pearl "cat's eyes" inlays.

The Jimmy Bruno Model achieves the goal of a smaller, comfortable to play guitar that is resistant to feedback without compromising on tone. The mahogany neck gives the guitar a rich, warm fullness that makes this instrument sound much "bigger" than one would expect from a smaller body.

The Jimmy Bruno Model will be available in the following nitro-cellulose finishes: Natural, Vintage Amber, Violin Sunburst, Honey Sunburst and Tobacco Sunburst. MSRP for the Jimmy Bruno Model sells for $3995 w/case.

Bruno, who regularly filled the Sadowsky Booth with his fluent, intuitive playing, has been singled out by players like George Benson based on his ability to play straight-ahead jazz at the most advanced technical level.

His feelings about the new Archtop are typically straightforward: "I am blown away by the new instrument Roger Sadowsky has made for me! No feedback. It's easy to get a round, warm tone ... probably the best guitar I have ever owned."

In addition to the successful Metro Line basses which offer Sadowsky NYC quality and materials at more affordable prices and the new Ultra Vintage instruments embodying the very best of the 70s electric bass renaissance, Sadowsky is offering a line of superlative quality bass and guitar strings, polishes, straps and other accessories.
