Everly Music Presents Hot New Honky-Tonker Moot Davis and The Cool Deal at the 2005 NAMM Show

Performance to Feature Legendary Guitarist/Producer Pete Anderson

Burbank, CA (January 13, 2005) -- Acclaimed Little Dog Records artist Moot Davis will be performing January 22, as part of the artist showcase at the 2005 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Grammy Award-winning guitarist/producer Pete Anderson will be leading the band, showcasing his signature brand of axe-slinging for the live show at 11:00 a.m on the outdoor stage, located between Halls B & C. Moot Davis' performance will be presented by Everly Music.

Since the release of his debut self-titled album earlier this year, Moot Davis has continued to garner critical reviews for his personal brand of honky-tonk music. Entertainment Today has decribed him as "...the leader in the new insurgent country music scene" while The Reporter has called his CD "one of the finest honky-tonk albums ever made." Moot was also recently named the 2004 Best Contemporary Honky-Tonk Artist by True West Magazine, as well as landing on the Top Ten Lists of About.com and Moot and his band The Cool Deal are currently on a cross country tour featuring world-renowned guitarist/producer Pete Anderson (who also produced Moot's album). Anderson boasts impressive credits -- he is the man responsible for all of Dwight Yoakam's albums as well as recordings by such acclaimed artists as Roy Orbison, k.d. lang, Buck Owens, Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, and Michelle Shocked, among many others. Over the last 20 years, Anderson has been responsible for the sale of over 30 million albums worldwide.

Pete Anderson has recently released his third solo album, an instrumental guitar experience, aptly titled "Daredevil." Along with his solo project and touring with Moot Davis, Mr. Anderson has been producing a variety of impressive artists for his Little Dog label. From singer/songwriter Cisco to East L.A.'s favorite sons The Blazers, Little Dog Records is responsible for releasing some of the most acclaimed new music today. All of the music can be heard on the artists' electronic press kits, along with pics and bio information.

Known for its creativity and high production values for over a decade, Little Dog has continued to succeed and revel in its "creative independence" at a time when the majors have faced mounting obstacles.
