Happy New Year!  (January 26, 2007)

So, I stayed in Boston for winter break and went to New York for a weekend. One of my friends in NY, Natasha Jehangir, is a freelance photographer and an architechture student at New York Institute of Technology. We were walking around Times Square and I saw this dude chilling out by a drumset on the street. It was freezing cold and the wind chill was ridiculous but I just HAD to play drums on the street at Times Square. This has been the highlight of my winter break. Check it out :)

The new semester at Berklee has begun. My classes are boring but required. I am looking forward to the afro/cuban drum lab though. They will teach us how to play stuff on congas. Nice.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Rock on,

Arooj
